Meditrans was the first to obtain a concession for performing emergency medical transportation in the Inner Carniola and Littoral regions back in 1998. We are an official partner of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS), which covers the costs of transportation for insured individuals to treatment via ambulance. We also collaborate with the health insurance providers Vzajemna, Triglav, and Adriatic Slovenica
Additionally, Meditrans is the first to facilitate patient transport beyond the treatment area. We provide safe transportation with trained accompaniment in appropriately equipped vehicles to destinations of choice—such as visits to natural landmarks, relatives, and more.
